Glasgow is fast becoming the international film makers location of choice given the relative inexpense of filming there. Inverclyde, on the outskirts of Glasgow with its wild landscapes and industrial heritage is equal to, if not better than, the city centre in terms of what it has to offer.

Ardgowan is situated at the heart of Inverclyde and is only 45 minutes from Glasgow city centre and 90 minutes from Edinburgh city centre. It is 35 minutes from Glasgow Airport and 55 minutes from Prestwick Airport.

Logistics

We have the space to accommodate unit bases and a fleet of trucks on site as well as the facilities for overnight equipment storage and the amenities to provide for large numbers of staff, cast and crew at any one time. All parking on the Estate is complimentary for cast and crew.

With ten years worth of filming projects under our belts, our experienced team will be on hand to help advising on road closures, property rights, organising location management, additional personnel transport or catering if necessary.
